With weather this nice one must go to the beach! We are counting ourselves lucky to keep having these lovely post summer beach days. Despite the sky being over cast for a good part of the day I took the Girls to the beach. The cloud coverege cleared at points and while the sunshine came and went behind cloud it remained warm and lovely during the hours we played. Once again, like last time we went, there was a fantastic tide pool for the girls to play in. Maya jumped bravely in small waves, daring to let go of my hand, and frolic in the ocean solo. Elle chased seagulls and paddled in the shallows until her teeth chattered. The Girls love the water, and do not want to get out of the ocean! We collected shells (and jelly fish) and made beach flowers and I found a few more pieces of beach glass to add to the collection.
