Popsicles Please

Less than a month has passed since we gave Maya the popsicle mold for her birthday, and during that time I discovered a hidden skill, yes, I seem to be an avid Popsicle maker! Who would have guessed? I am only ‘bragging’ about this talent because my family have become a little obsessed with the pops and I am happily making a batch or two, or three a week! Well..to be honest it is so easy and it really takes no special talent at all. All it takes is to desire a lovely fresh popsicle, make a mixture, and freeze it.

I will say though that I have enjoyed coming up with new flavours to please our palettes (those years of working in kitchens come in handy sometimes) and presentations to please the eyes has been fun. Indeed they are as yummy as they look. Cam is very disappointed if there is not one waiting for him when he gets home, and the girls and I ate them for breakfast this morning! They are super-duper healthy and so go ahead and eat two!

For those of you interested in buying the popsicle mold that we purchased, I recommend it highly. While it is not produced as environmentally friendly as I would like, it is at least BPA free. I also recommend that when you order it, to purchase extra sticks. It comes with 50 and we went through them in two weeks!

I can not give exact recipes because I do not know the quantities, but I have listed the ingredients as inspiration. Here are the flavors we have made the past few weeks. Many more to come!
