Shantideva is Dominique’s first children’s book. It has come about from her combined role as a mother and an academic who specializes in the religions and history of Asia, with a focus on Tibetan Buddhism and culture. Dominique received her BA in Religion from Barnard, a Masters from Harvard Divinity School, and a PhD from Columbia. She has also studied, worked and traveled extensively in Tibet, Nepal, and India.
